The design and built environment is both exciting and challenging, as architects continue to push design and environmental boundaries, and building regulations and government legislation ensures that buildings are as energy efficient as they can possibly be.

Our knowledge of environmental issues, legislation and regulations is fully up to date to ensure that we comply with RIBA guidelines on applying the principles of low carbon design and refurbishment to all our projects.  We have considerable experience of energy use in different types of building, and how to apply design solutions accordingly to help minimise energy demand.

In the industrial arena, manufacturing and process plants have their own set of challenges – and we have become experts in understanding and answering these effectively – but the end requirement is usually common for all buildings, to provide energy efficient, cost effective, sustainable solutions.

Our design and build skills and experience are evidenced in the diverse range of successful project completions in many areas:

NHS and public buildings – we are a major contractor to the NHS in both new build hospitals and healthcare units, and also in refurbishment of existing buildings and facilities. We adopt a flexible and sympathetic approach to meeting the needs of this demanding environment.
Local Authorities and Government departments – our work recognises and supports the need to run efficient and effective pubic services and have wide experience in the design and installation of new build projects, and also servicing existing plant, buildings, schools and residential homes.
We work with many architects and owners of large private homes installing state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical systems demanded by highly sophisticated homes where technology and environmental sustainability are key issues.   We design and install highly efficient heating and cooling systems, rainwater harvesting and complete electrical systems – utilising modern wiring techniques – for security, appliances and home entertainment.
